St. Marguerite D'Youville Academy relies on the support of our students
parents, guardians and families. Parents recognize the value of a Catholic
education and choose it over the quality public schools in the area. SMDA is
bettered through the efforts, time and talent of people who love it.
Some of the committees that keep SMDA going and make it a healthy, family
place include:
- Education Council
- Home and School Association
- Safety and Security Committee
- Yearbook
Since the 1999-2000 school year, SMDA parents have been spending evenings
assembling an annual yearbook. The SMDA Eagle stated with a "black and white,
cut and paste" collection of photos and has evolved to full color, nearly
completely digital, forty-four page work. Our goal is to build an affordable,
quality book that our children and their families can turn to and refresh their
memories of their elementary school days.
If you’ve got pictures, we’d love them! Any school special or sporting event!
Classroom shots! Playground shots! We want your photos!
- Give Donna Luckie your photos, we’ll scan them and be sure to get them
back to you!
- Or give Donna a CD or memory card with your pictures, again, we’ll
return your media!
- Email digital pictures to
yearbook@smdacademy.org
- Bring them with you to a meeting!
- Please don’t print digital pictures for us, it makes more work with less
quality.
